I’m much more of a listener than I am a talker. As a result of that, I’m not very good about speaking in a presentational fashion. I want to change that.
So, I started a podcast as a way to ease into it. It’s nice because I want to do well because there is the potential for an audience and I’d prefer to minimize how much I embarrass myself, but I also don’t have an audience so I don’t feel like there’s any standard of expectation. I can suck as much as I want!
It’s not focused on a topic, at least not yet. I just wanted to have the freedom to talk about whatever comes to mind for right now.
I haven’t really told anyone about it. I want it to be better before I tell people around me about it. However, I’m getting to the point where I’m getting more comfortable with the idea of just talking for a length of time. I’m not losing my voice if I speak for more than five minutes at a time, which is great. I’m also at the point where I would love input.
I’ve been keeping it all centralized on a separate website for now. But I’d love input on it if anyone wants to take a listen. As rough as it is, I’m actually really loving it. For now, it’s a practice tool for me but I’d love to turn it into a more conversational thing where I bring people on and chat. Maybe even have a co-host one day.
I won’t really post about it here anymore, at least until I get better. Just putting this out here now so that if you have an interest, check it out and let me know what you think. I’d be concerned that you’d put the time in, but also love you forever.
Alright guys, hope otherwise you’re all doing well. Take care of yourselves. Sending love.
